From the age of 3, Carley trained in dance, singing and drama. With hard work, drive, determination and support from her family, Carley has been a professional performer for 20years.
Carley's first professional job at the age of 17 was playing Steph Dean for 10 years on 'Hollyoaks' accumulating nominations for best dramatic, best exit and best comedy performance. Since leaving Channel Four in 2010, she has appeared in Holby City and improvisational drama Suspects.
Since 2010 Carley has built a very successful career on London's infamous West End Stage, playing renowned favourite Leads. Elle Woods, (Legally Blonde) Fiona (Shrek) Woman (West End Men) Susan (Title of Show Uk premier at Edinburgh Fringe Festival) Lady Of The Lake, (Spamalot) Christine Colgate (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Uk Tour) Bobby in Neil Labutes play Some Girls and the final Fantine in Les Miserables at The Queens Theatre 2019.
Carley will be on tour in the very successful UK premier and first cast of 'Curtains' the Musical. A murder mystery comedy by Kander and Ebb, till April 2020.
After competing in singing competitions through out her early life and concerts during her professional career, Carley really wanted to marry her eclectic mix of favourite songs and influences in one small album. With a nod to the major factors in her life that had shaped her path. Carley's love of country and writing skills are demonstrated in 'Hurricane' which is a collaboration with Country Music Award winning Gary Quinn.
'About you now' feat Diamond (vocal group consisting of Carley and three of her best friends, who were successful in 2005-2015 singing their own version of popular songs across the country and Ireland, at leading venues as support acts, including this version)
Carley recorded a live lounge edition of 'About you now' originally by The Sugarbabes because of its popularity on 'Hollyoaks' when she sang it for Max's funeral.
"Take me away' written by the amazing Scott Alan very popular for his work in the Musical Theatre world in Broadway and London.
The album was recorded and produced by the wonderful Ben Robbins from Umbrella Rooms London.

Whilst Carley was busy in the Musical Theatre world she wanted to strengthen her skills in other areas of her life she had a passion for. With the fortunate consistency of a performance every night, it left time and opportunity to work on other areas of expertise in the day, that also go hand in hand with stage/screen and performance.

Carley and her business partner Robert Delaney started WESTENDWORKSHOP in January 2018. After sharing many car journeys back up north together from their shared stage in London's West End. They felt they both had a love of teaching and giving back to the community they had built their careers from.
Teaching every three months on a Sunday (for now) North West.
Ages ranging from 6-18 in musical theatre, harmonies, script reading, screen tests, audition technique singing and dancing. building confidence in their abilities, in themselves and like minded people.
